RANGRINGKAN, Feb 14: Acting on a tip-off, the Changlang battalion of the Assam Rifles (AR) conducted a search operation at Rangringkan village in Changlang district and apprehended two ULFA operatives on Thursday.
The duo has been identified as self-styled lance corporal James Rongpi (27) and Nabajyoti Baruah (31). The AR said they were arrested along with “warlike stores.”
The two were later handed over to the police station in Changlang. (DIPRO)
