APSCW urges govt to deploy required personnel at PS’

ITANAGAR, Feb 27: The Arunachal Pradesh State Commission for Women (APSCW) has strongly urged the state government to deploy required personnel and provide sufficient equipment and vehicles at all the police stations (PS) in the state to maintain law and order without any difficulties.
In a press statement, the APSCW said the police stations in the capital complex, including the women police station here, lack sufficient personnel, necessary equipment, and vehicles.
“This fact was revealed when a team of the commission visited all the police stations within the capital complex and interacted with the authorities of those police stations on Wednesday,” it said.
Meanwhile, the APSCW conveyed deep condolences to the bereaved families of the three youths who died in police firing during the anti-PRC agitation, and prayed for eternal peace of the departed souls.
It appealed to all CBOs, NGOs and student organizations to maintain peace and harmony.
