Forest officer inducted to IFS

JAIRAMPUR, Mar 24: Chimoy Simai, 53, has become the first officer from the Tikhak sub-tribe (Tangsa) of Changlang district to be inducted to the Indian Forest Service (IFS) from the Arunachal Pradesh State Forest Service (SFS).
Simai is currently serving as the CAMPA DCF (admin grade) at the PCCF office in Itanagar.
Simai is a native of Kovin village in Jairampur circle. He did his BSc from Jawaharlal Nehru College, Pasighat, in 1987, and joined the SFS in 1988. He completed his two years of forestry course at the SFS College, Burnihat, Assam, in 1988-’90.
