RGU conducts yoga camps

RONO HILLS, May 19: Rajiv Gandhi University’s (RGU) physical education department conducted a series of ‘yoga awareness camps’ at various schools, community halls and different locations of the capital complex from 10 May.
“The purpose of the programme was to create public awareness about the benefits of practicing yogasanas,” said the university’s Physical Education HoD Dr Anil Mili.
The last camp in the series was organized at Good Shepard Public School in Papu Nallah, near Naharlagun, on Sunday.
Altogether 10 yoga camps were conducted, and over 600 people (6-85 years old), including 150 NDRF personnel, benefitted from the camps, Dr Mili said.
