AALO, Jun 19: The maternity and general patient wards of the general hospital here in West Siang district have been given a facelift with new beds, shelves, painting and tiles fitting, replacing the old and obsolete infrastructure.
District Medical Officer Dr Moli Riba said the hospital will gradually be shaped up better through government funding, while Medical Superintendent Dr Linya Lollen described spitting on the walls and floors of the hospital as “a hindrance to maintaining cleanliness in the hospital.”
All medical staffers on duty have been advised not to tolerate any mischievous activity in the hospital and take care of the upgraded property.
