AKDSU demands ouster of DDSE and DPC from Kamle district

RAGA, Jul 5: Alleging abysmal education scenario and mismanagement of fund in implementation of schemes and projects under education department, All Kamle District Students’ Union (AKDSU) has demanded immediate transfer of present DDSE and DPC (ISSE) and posting of ‘full-fledged and experienced’ DDSE and DPC in Kamle district.
In a representation to the education secretary on Friday, the union alleged that the both the officials have lost faith and confidence of the people of the district due to the their ‘present issues of mismanagement and governance’.
Reiterating its claim that ‘huge fund sanctioned against various heads of schemes and programme against Kamle district have never been used properly and that the fund has been siphoned off,’ the union questioned how could the enquiry team gather factual data in a single day by visiting only few schools, whereas ‘CMSSY schemes 2018-19 has been approved against thirty government schools in different places of the district.’
It threatened to launch 72 hours second phase bandh call in the district from 15 July if the authority fails to fulfill its demands.
