GUWAHATI, Jul 6: Arunachal Pradesh Governor BD Mishra attended the launch of the Assamese edition of ‘Charaiveti Charaiveti’ (Marching Ahead), an autobiography of Ram Naik, Governor of Uttar Pradesh at the Shrimanta Shankardeva Kalakshetra, here on Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, the Governor said, “the autobiography reflects the exemplary, dedicated and visionary life of Ram Naik. It also shows his commitment towards upliftment of needy people, social development, patriotism and national pride.”
With Assamese edition of the autobiography, the governor said that the people of the north eastern region will know more about Ram Naik and will be inspired by his personality.
Along with Ram Naik, Governor of Assam Prof Jagdish Mukhi, Governor of Meghalaya Tathagata Roy and Governor of Sikkim Ganga Prasad were also present on the occasion, besides Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. (PRO to Raj Bhavan)
