Tuki appointed new APCC chief

ITANAGAR, Jul 31: The All India Congress Committee (AICC) has appointed former chief minister and sitting Sagalee MLA Nabam Tuki as the new Pradesh Congress Committee president.
Mebo MLA Lombo Tayeng has been appointed leader of Congress Legislature Party.
This was informed by AICC GS KC Venugopal in a press release on Wednesday evening.
A veteran political leader, Tuki has served as the PWD and Urban Development minister under the Gegong Apang and Dorjee Khandu ministries.
He became the chief minister of Arunachal Pradesh in 2011 and again in 2016.
Former MP, Takam Sanjoy is the outgoing president of the APCC.
