AALO, Aug 28: Awareness regarding issues like AIDS and HIV and ill effects of tobacco was created amongst the youths by Medical Officer Dr Jumge Padu and representatives from Yomcha unit of Mothers’ Vision during a foundation day-cum-felicitation function of the Kargu Kardi Students’ Union held at Jarbom Gamlin Indoor Stadium Yomcha in West Siang district on Tuesday.
During the programme, GSU secretary Deny Boje urged the union members to conduct educational tours in various areas to assess the reasons for poor academic performance that contribute to overall falling educational graph of the district.
The union was also urged to create awareness on Swachh Bharat Mission. (DIPRO)
