AALO, Sep 2: West Siang DC Swetika Sachan launched the Electors Verification Programme (EVP) for the district at the facilitation centre here on Sunday.
Gaon burahs and electors were given EVP posters, and were briefed on the importance of verifying the particulars of the electors. The EVP can also be carried out at the offices of the DEO and the ERO, BLO booths, NVSP, and through the mobile app by dialling 1950, till 15 October.
Earlier, on 31 August, the second training programme on EVP and SSR 2020 was imparted to the assembly constituency level master trainers and booth level officers. (DIPRO)
