State BMS submits memo to CM

ITANAGAR, Sep 20: The state unit of the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) on Tuesday submitted an eight-point memorandum to the chief minister, and demanded that the state government initiate urgent steps to fulfill its demands.
The demands include, inter alia, implementation of same grade pay for same work charge of staffs of government establishments, implementation of a pension scheme for casual/contingency workers, raising the retirement age of ALCs to 60 years, regularization of anganwadi workers and helpers on seniority basis, and enhancement of minimum wages @ Rs 18,000 per month.
