BORDURIA, Sep 25: A one-day workshop on awareness campaigns in connection with Swachhata Hi Sewa, Poshan Maah and De-worming was organized by district administration in collaboration with ICDS and health department at Borduria Towang Lowangdong auditorium on Wednesday, wherein GBs, chiefs, students, Anganwadi workers and ASHAs took part.
In his address, Borduria Circle Officer Lim Modi informed that there will be three phases of program on Swachhata Hi Sewa starting from 11 September. The CO further appealed the gathering not to throw away/ burn plastic waste anywhere but to keep all plastic waste in one particular place which will be collected by urban development department for recycling and disposal.
While, highlighting on Poshan Maah Abhiyan and PMMVY Khonsa CDPO, N. Matey urged all the Anganwadi workers to be more dedicated in discharging their duties for better implementation of the scheme.
Borduria PHC, MO I/c. Dr. Chanwang Mongchan imparted training on de-worming to all the health workers including nurses, ASHAs, Anganwadi workers and briefed about how to immunize 0-5 years children with albendazole doze at their Anganwadi centres.
Deputy director ICDS, Timah Sumnyan also spoke on the occasion.
