JOLLANG, Sep 30: An awareness programme on blood donation was organised by the NSS unit of Don Bosco College, here on Monday in view of the National Voluntary Blood Donation Day, which is being observed in the country annually on 1 October.
Speaking as resource person on the occasion, Arunachal Voluntary Blood Donor Organisation founder-cum-chairman Ramesh Jeke Tatung sensitised the NSS volunteers about blood donation and explained about its benefits to the donors.
He also informed about the challenges being faced by the patients in the capital and other districts due to lack of blood donors.
