PSB’s ‘Customer Outreach Prog’ at Pasighat

PASIGHAT, Oct 1: Joining the nation-wide ‘Customer Outreach Initiative (COI)’, different public sector banks (PSB) are organizing a two-day ‘customer outreach programme’ at the State Bank of India (SBI) branch here in East Siang district on 3 and 4 October.
The COI, which is an initiative of the department of Financial Services under the Union Ministry of Finance, aims to cater to bank customers by extending array of loans, including home, auto, agriculture, MSME, education and personal.
During the programme, Pasighat branches of the SBI, Canara Bank, Bank of Boroda, HDFC, Axis Bank, ICICI, Arunachal Pradesh Rural Bank, Apex Bank and the Punjab National Bank will educate their customers about financial inclusion schemes and digital payments.
“The programme will benefit a large number of bank customers in achieving their financial goals,” said SBI Regional Manager from Dibrugarh, Abhay Prakash here on Tuesday.
