ITANAGAR, Oct 11: The Former Nyishi Students’ Leader Forum (FNSLF) has mourned the demise of former ANSU general secretary, Paat Lalek Hangkar, who passed away on Friday after a prolonged illness.
He is survived by his wife, a son, and three daughters.
Born on 7 March, 1978, Hangkar was the general secretary of the All Nyishi Students’ Union from 2001-02. He then entered mainstream politics.
Stating that Hangkar’s death “has created a vacuum which will be difficult to fill,” the FNSLF conveyed condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul.
