KHONSA, Oct 17: Tirap DC PN Thungon on Thursday inaugurated a stall here, showcasing a variety of traditional local products by 15 self-help groups (SHG) under the aegis of the Nocte Mothers Federation (NMF).
Commending the SHGs for their effort, the DC urged everyone to visit the stall and encourage the SHGs.
NMF president Chanon Mongwang informed that the products being showcased in the stall, which is set up in the premises of the DC office, are being sold at reasonable rates. The products include bamboo products, home decoration items, millet cake, organic spices, and traditional dresses, among other things.
DUDA EE Tai Sangkio, UD AE Lienwang Hosai, and DLRSO Hibu Doley were also present during the inauguration. (DIPRO)
