AALO, Oct 19: The Aalo Area Students’ Union has said it will stage a peaceful rally in the town on 21 October to protest the “unresponsive attitude” of the district administration towards its demands.
In a representation to the West Siang DC, the union on Friday said that, despite its having submitted a representation to the DC on 3 October to meet its demands, no step has been initiated in this regard.
The union is demanding posting of a surgeon, medicine and child specialists, a pathologist, a radiologist, four medical officers and other assisting medical staffers; improving the telecom service in Aalo; and taking action against the SBI’s officials here to ensure early start of ATM services.
