TEZU, Oct 24: Nation Human Rights Commission Director, Sanjay Dubey, delivered a lecture on international human rights laws and national human rights institutions, as part of a ‘special lecture series’, organised by the political science department of Indira Gandhi Government College (IGGC) here in Lohit district on Thursday.
Dubey also interacted with the college’s students on different issues relating to the problem of human rights in India, and advised them to “enjoy the rights as guaranteed by the state with a sense of responsibility.”
Political Science HoD, Dr SK Dash and associate professor, Dr PC Swain, also spoke.
IGGC Principal Dr Kangki Megu provided logistic support to the programme.
