SAGALEE, Oct 30: One day free multi-speciality health camp was organised by the District Health Society of Papum Pare under the aegis of the Mukhya Mantri Rogi Kalyan Kosh (MMRK) at the community health centre here on Wednesday.
Inaugurating the camp, local MLA Nabam Tuki lauded the District Health Society Papum Pare for organising the health camp here and said that such camps will provide people with easy access to healthcare, besides sensitizing them on important health issues.
Tuki also assured full support and co-operation from his end and requested the people to take maximum benefit from the health camp.
Earlier, DMO Dr Subu Tasso Kampu highlighted the objective of health camps and appealed to all people to avail the multi-speciality health care facilities provided during the camp.
A special team of specialist doctors from TRIHMS, Naharlagun comprising Medicine Specialist DrL Nyorak, Surgical Specialist DrD Gara, Eye Specialist Dr Taba Khanna, Paediatrician Dr Pepi Jini, Gynaecologist Dr Radhe Akang and RBSK Medical Officer Dr M Engling participated in the camp.
More than 500 people registered for various health check-ups and availed the facilities of the camp like medicines, surgery, RBSK screening, ultra sound, chest X-Ray, family planning kits, NCD screening, besides benefits of the Dulari Kanya, Chief Minister Arunachal Arogya Yojana and National Vector Born Disease Control Programme.
ADC Sagalee, SDO Mengio, medical officers-in-charge, and DHS and CHC staff also attended the camp. (DIPRO)
