Obom Tangu wins ‘Upper Siang Idol’ contest

YINGKIONG, Nov 4: Obom Tangu of Migging was declared the winner of the ‘Upper Siang Idol’ singing contest during the grand finale held at the multipurpose community hall here in Upper Siang district on 3 November.
Tangu pocketed a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh.
Meme Taku of Geku and Golik Yao of Komkar were declared the first runner-up and second runner-up, respectively. Rorong Apum of Adi Pasi and Duni Nitik of Mosing took the third runner-up and the fourth runner-up position, respectively.
The event was sponsored by Health Minister Alo Libang, MP Tapir Gao, former ASM Getem Litin, the ABK’s Upper Siang unit and KK Traders. (DIPRO)
