APLS launches monthly literary sittings in Lohit

TEZU, Nov 17: The Lohit district unit of the Arunachal Pradesh Literary Society (APLS) started its monthly literary sittings at IGG College (IGGC) here on 15 November.
Twelve young writers presented their short stories during the first programme.
District Research Officer Jonomo Rondo encouraged the budding writers to “avail the platform of the APLS under the guidance of noted author YD Thongchi.”
Commending the APLS district unit’s initiative, IGGC Principal Dr K Megu offered several suggestions “to sharpen the talent of budding writers.” District APLS president Dr MS Sharma and general secretary Dr Padmawati Angong also spoke.
The APLS’ Lohit unit was formed in the presence of APLS president YD Thongchi on 12 December, 2018.
