Edn dept urged to improve Nyapin GHSS’ condition

NYAPIN, Nov 26: All Arunachal Pradesh Students’ Union (AAPSU) spokesman Tadar Takiang urged the education department to look into the poor condition of the government higher secondary school (GHSS) here in Kurung Kumey district.
Takiang made the appeal during his address at a school event last Saturday. Expressing concern upon learning that the school is running without a principal, Takiang urged the DDSE to take immediate steps for posting a permanent principal to the school.
He also asked the BSNL authorities to restore internet service in the school, which is the only CBSE centre in the whole circle.
“Due to lack of internet service, the institute is facing lots of problems to conduct CBSE examination every year,” he said.
Takiang also requested the teachers to give their best to the students, and assured to extend every possible help in his personal capacity to address the problems faced by the school.
The AAPSU’s assistant games & sports secretary, Teli Taning Kevin, advised the students to be disciplined and devoted to their studies.
“Always give respect to the teachers and elders, and use information technology for gathering knowledge,” he said.
Both Takiang and Kevin paid homage to the AAPSU martyr from Nyapin circle, Kipa Kache.
