TALIHA, Nov 27: An Adult and Community Learning Centre (ACLC) under the aegis of Lune Educational Foundation Charitable Society (LEFCS), Daporijo was inaugurated by Kodak ADC Bopai Puroik here in Upper Subansiri district on Tuesday.
The main motto of the centre is to provide a second learning opportunity to those adult people, who have lost access to education for other reasons so that they can read and write. It also extends learning support to the poor and orphaned children.
Speaking after the inauguration, the ADC urged all the 46 persons, who have enrolled in the centre on the day, to sincerely attend classes.
LEFCS chairman Adap Maling distributed copybooks, pencil, rubber, cutter etc to the enrolled persons.
