ZIRO, Nov 27: The coordination meeting of the District Task Force for Immunization (DTFI) cum Intensified Mission Indradhanush 2 (IM) was held here under the chairmanship of Lower Subansiri Deputy Commissioner (DC) cum DTFI Chairman Chukhu Takar on Wednesday.
The DC advised the DMO & DFWO to create more awareness in the grass root level for effective implementation of all Immunization programmes in the district. Further, he also assured to help in arranging vehicles from district administration for immunization program as and when required by the DTFI.
The District Family Welfare Officer (DFWO) Dr Derin Likar briefed in length about the objectives of IM 2. The DFWO also apprised about issues faced by DTFI in terms of Human Resources (MO, ANM), Transportation (Lack of Supervisory vehicles) and non receipt of IEC material from the State.
Issues pertaining to communication, immunization cover (FIC), preparatory status of the district, details of dropouts and left outs in the last immunization was also discussed in length. As per the field data, PHC Neelam in Miya Sub-Centre in Ziro II area had the highest left out.
The meeting was attended by the DTFI members and representatives from AIR. DIPRO
