YUPIA, Dec 05: Papum Pare District Tourism Promotion Council (DTPC) meeting was conducted under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Tabang Bodung here on Thursday.
Bodung, in his address, called upon the district tourism department to keep proper records of all tourism assets under Papum Pare district and to streamline the leasing process of assets ‘which are laying unused.’
District Tourism Officer (DTO) Tater Mize briefed the members about present status of tourism assets in the district. Mize further informed that department is taking up steps to identify the assets of tourism created in various parts of the district so that it can be protected and put to use in a proper manner.
During the meeting, DTPC members discussed in length issues pertaining to leasing out various completed tourism asset in the district and other related matters. All members of DTPC were present. DIPRO
