SAD camp organized

NAHMED, Jan 3: The Tawang district administration and other departments provided various government services during a Sarkar Aapke Dwar (SAD) camp organised at Nahmed village on Friday.
The camp was inaugurated by DC (in-charge) Lobsang Tsering, in the presence of EACs Dochora Lama and Tenzin Jambey, GBs, and villagers of Nahmed, Bomdir, Wodkher, Langputse and nearby areas.
The DC also felicitated the toppers of the government upper primary school here, and distributed vegetable seeds and agricultural water pipes to the villagers through the GBs of Bomdir, Nahmed and Wodkher.
He created awareness on the Arunachal Pradesh Panchayati Raj Amendment Act, 2018, and stressed the importance of education, judicious utilization of natural resources and electricity, etc.
The DC later led a team of officers, including DMO Dr Wangdi Lama, to the Tarman gompa above Nahmed, and interacted with the residents there. (DIPRO)
