AAPSU condemns attack on JNU students

ITANAGAR, Jan 9: The All Arunachal Pradesh Students’ Union (AAPSU) on Thursday vehemently condemned the recent attack on students of three hostels of JNU, New Delhi, by armed masked goons.
“Such incident in an educational institution reflects a wrong light to the country. Such cowardice act cannot be taken lightly but stringent action should be initiated,” the union stated in a release.
AAPSU president Hawa Bagang termed the violence “unbecoming and barbaric.”
Expressing solidarity with the JNU students, the AAPSU demanded adequate protection for the students, and requested the Centre to take necessary steps to put the culprits behind bars.
