ANINI, Jan 16: A two-month skill development training programme sponsored by the Arunachal Pradesh Building & Other Construction Workers’ Welfare Board (APB&OCWWB) was inaugurated here in Dibang Valley district by MLA Mopi Mihu on Thursday.
The MLA commended the APB&OCWWB and the implementing agency, the GPTI Welfare Society, for organising the programme, and urged the implementing agency to engage a well-trained “and, if possible, a local” trainer. He advised the trainees to “reap the maximum benefits out of such training.”
DC W Khimhun and others were also present at the inaugural function.
GPTI coordinator Milton Taga informed that the participants will undergo training in “beauty parlour, electrician and repairing of two-wheelers.” (DIPRO)
