CRPF installs water purifier for school students

KHONSA, Jan 29: The 36 Bn CRPF has installed a water purifier (Reverse Osmosis – RO) plant under its civic action programme at Government English Middle School, Kappu in Tirap district on Wednesday.
The water purifier, with a capacity to purify 250 litres water per hour will provide “pure drinking water” to the teaching staff and students as well as local residents.
A storage tank of 500 ltr capacity has also been provided, to provide continuous and sufficient water storage during the need of hour.
The initiative was highly appreciated by Kappu village chief Khamwang Lowang and school authorities. They suggested the CRPF to carry on its noble initiative for the benefit of students and villagers.
Among others, 36 Bn CRPF Commandant S.R. Behura, Second-in-Command Anil Kishor Yadav and Gaon Burah Wangthat Lowang were present on the occasion. (DIPRO)
