PASIGHAT, Feb 24: The All India Football Federation’s (AIFF) E Licence course in football coaching, being organized by the Arunachal Pradesh Football Association (APFA), started here in East Siang district on Monday.
The course, which is supported by the Hero ISL Children’s League, is a part of the AIFF’s coach education programme to produce coaches at the grassroots level. Gyan Moyon and Tapi Apa are the head and the assistant instructor, respectively.
East Siang DFA president, General Jamoh, said the programme would “immensely help the growth of football from the grassroots level by producing coaches.”
This is the second time in two months that the APFA is organizing an E licence coaching course in the state. The first was held at Sangay Lhaden Sports Academy in January, informed APFA secretary Kipa Ajay.
