Mishra, Tedir discuss primary edn

ITANAGAR, Feb 28: Education Minister Taba Tedir called on Governor BD Mishra at the Raj Bhavan here on Friday, and the two discussed ways to strengthen primary education in the state.
The governor suggested involving dedicated NGOs in the promotion of education in the state, including the running of the Eklavya model residential schools.
The Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Sansthan’s Vidhya Bharati national president, D Ramakrishna Rao, was also present at the meeting.
Vidhya Bharati is running 29 schools, including nine Kashturba Gandhi Balika Vidhyalayas, across the state, under the banner of the Arunachal Shiksha Vikas Samiti. (Raj Bhavan)
