State representatives visit power stations in Himachal Pradesh

ITANAGAR, Mar 2: A 27-member delegation consisting of officials of Arunachal Pradesh state Hydropower Department and representatives from various districts of Arunachal Pradesh visited power stations of the NHPC in Himachal Pradesh as part of an eight-day tour from 23 February to 1 March.
Led by NHPC DGM (HR) Priya Ranjan and Taki Tatin and DHPD Superintendent Engineer T Udik Taba, the delegation visited the dam and power house of Chamera-I, power house of Sewa-II, dam of Chamera-II, power house of Chamera-III and local adjoining areas.
The delegates were briefed about the social, economic, educational and basic infrastructural development works undertaken due to the construction of hydro power projects.
On 29 February, an interactive session was organized at Delhi, which was attended by Advisor to Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister, CS Paliwal, Director (Technical), NHPC Janardan Choudhary, state Commissioner Hydro Power Project GS Meena and others.
