DHS conducts medical camp

YUPIA, Mar 2: A total of 200 patients have benefitted from a health camp conducted under the Mukhya Mantri Rogi Kalyan Kosh (MMRKK) by the Papum Pare District Health Society at Government Secondary School, Beysernyello on 29 February.
Apart from general health check up, a wide range of health care services were provided to the patients for free by a team of specialist doctors, led by DMO Dr Subu Tasso Kampu.
An awareness camp on Corona Virus (Convid-19) and vector borne diseases, like malaria, dengue etc was also organized on the sideline of the health camp.
The people were also made aware of the various central and state sponsored health schemes, like Chief Minister Arogya Arunachal Yojana, Dulari Kanya, etc.
Contraceptive pills and other family planning materials, anti-helminthic and ORS were also distributed among the public.
A special outreach programme was also conducted at the Hollongi market by the Hollongi PHC medical officer. Around 127 patients were treated during the camp. (DIPRO)
