ABK seeks stringent punishment for Ct Yajo’s murderer

ITANAGAR, Mar 12: The Adi Ba:ne Kebang (ABK) has requested the authorities to award the stringiest punishment as per the law to the man involved in the murder of IRBn constable Tapop Yajo, who was shot dead in the court premises of the chief judicial magistrate in West Siang HQ Aalo on 3 March while on duty.
Commending the swift action of the police in solving the case, ABK president Getom Borang in a release on Thursday said, “The peace-loving people of West Siang district highly appreciate the police department’s achievement, which has created a strong bond of trust between the law enforcement agency and the community.
“A criminal belongs to none; therefore, the ABK prays for stringiest punishment under the law for the perpetrator involved in the crime,” he said.
