BORDUMSA, Mar 18: A suspected drug peddler, identified as Sapan Paul (44), resident of Madhabpur village in Assam, has been apprehended by a joint team of D/186 Bn CRPF and civil police here during a naka checking here in Changlang district on Tuesday last.
Around 15 polythene packets containing suspected brown sugar weighing 68.5 grams (Approx), a motorcycle and a mobile handset have been seized from his possession.
Meanwhile, a criminal case has been registered at the Bordumsa police station under the NDPS Act, informed Changlang SP Mihin Gambo in a release on Wednesday.
