CHANGLANG, Apr 4: NERCORMP-Changlang District Project Director N Sukajit and Green Lawn Society chief functionary Marina Kenglang handed over 215 reusable facemasks to DSP Titkam Tangha and Changlang PHED Division EE Kipa Niama on Saturday.
The masks have been stitched by women in the villages of Changlang. Nearly 70 women members of the Changlangkan SHG Federation, who are trained in sewing and embroidery stitching, are making the masks to help people protect themselves against Covid-19.
The reusable masks have been sanitized under the professional advice of doctors.
