Two recover from Covid-19, discharged from CCC Miao

MIAO, Jun 17: Two women have recovered from covid-19 and discharged from CCC here under Changlang district on Wednesday.
The two women are sisters and are the first to recover and get discharged from the district which has 60 corona positive cases including 41 cases in Diyun circle, 10 in Miao and another 9 in Bordumsa CCC.
They were kept at CCC, Miao for two weeks after they first tested positive on June 4.
The sisters tested RT- PCR negative for two consecutive times and have now been placed under home quarantine for 14 days w.e.f June 18 to July 1.
Local MLA and UD minister Kamlung Mossang and Miao additional deputy commissioner Tage Rumi gave away the CCC discharge certificates to the sisters.
Mossang asked them to adhere to the laid down norms of standard operating procedures and advised them to confine themselves strictly to home quarantine for the next two weeks.
He also lauded the MO Dr. H. Jongsam and his team of doctors and staffs for their exemplary services.
The event was attended by members of United Miao Mission and Miao Singpho Ramma Hpung, EAC Apollo James Lungphi, EAC Namrata Bhatt and SDPO Tasi Darang among others.
