KHONSA, Jun 18: A girl at the Covid care centre (CCC) here in Tirap district recovered from Covid-19 and was discharged on Thursday after testing negative consecutively.
Deputy Commissioner Bhanu Prabha handed the discharge certificate to the girl, in the presence of SP Kardak Riba and DMO Dr K Mossang. Later, magistrate DK Thungdok along with police personnel escorted her to her village.
Till now, three Covid-19 positive cases have been detected in Tirap, and all of them – as did the girl – are undergoing treatment at the CCC here.
The girl, who is a Chennai returnee, had been shifted to the CCC from the facility quarantine after she had tested positive. (DIPRO)
