KIMIN, 27 Jan: The inaugural function of the sports competitions of the 49th Nyishi Nyokum Yullo celebration was kicked off at the mini Subansiri stadium here on Wednesday by the vice president of the Arunachal Cricket Association, Nabam Vivek.
The programme was organized by the 49th Nyishi Nyokum Yullo celebration committee, led by its organizing chairman Tame Tara. Kimin ZPM Bamang Yayu also attended it.
The function commenced with a football match between Kimin-I GPC and Model Village GPM.
Addressing the gathering, Vivek appealed to the players to maintain sportsmanship during the match. Bamang in her speech advised the players to abide by the rules of the games.
