APCC demands Vivek Vihar approach road renovation

ITANAGAR, 2 Feb: The labour cell of Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) has urged the department concerned to renovate the Vivek Vihar approach road immediately to prevent untoward incident.

In a release, the party’s labour cell chairman Yangbui Takik said the road in the heart of the capital town has totally collapsed, posing serious threat to commuters.

He urged the planning department and PWD chief engineer (Western Zone) to include the work in this financial year to renovate the road.

Takik also urged the Itanagar Municipal Corporation to clean the area so that visitors to the state do not go back with a wrong impression of the state.
