BJP team inspects four-lane project

ITANAGAR, 24 Feb: A team of state BJP leaders, led by its vice president Tarh Tarak inspected the ongoing four-lane road project from Chandranagar to Zero Point Tinali here on Wednesday.

The team also visited the underpass work, and took stock of the work’s progress.

Speaking to the press, Tarak claimed that the two-lane Chandranagar bridge is nearing completion and will be ready for use by the first week of March.

“The underpass work is also progressing very rapidly. There is every possibility that work will be completed before the three months’ target given by the state government,” claimed Tarak.

The BJP leader also claimed that the four-lane road project would be completed on 31 March, as promised by Chief Minister Pema Khandu.

“Apart from underpass and bridges, the remaining stretch will be completed. The carpeting work is going on in full swing and should be completed by 31 March, as assured by the CM,” he added.
