Capital DA distributes uniforms to traffic wardens

ITANAGAR, 8 Apr: Itanagar Capital Region Deputy Commissioner Komkar Dulom distributed complete set of uniforms, including shoes and raincoats to the traffic wardens here, in presence of a host of officers on Thursday.

Appreciating the hard work of the traffic wardens, the DC asked them to continue their work with the same zeal and motivation.

“When one works with the aim of providing service to others without any expectation in return, only then one gets true satisfaction in their profession,” the DC said.

He also informed that the district administration has tried its best to provide the best quality uniforms to help them serve to the best of their capability.

The DC also discussed about the various grievances raised by the traffic wardens and assured that the same will be pursued by his end.

Capital SP Jimmy Chiram urged the traffic wardens to perform their duty with utmost sincerity and maintain personal hygiene to keep their body fit.

SDPO Kamdam Sikom also asked them to work with sincerity and dedication.

Informing that traffic points have been raised at various locations, the SDPO urged the traffic in-charges to monitor the same from time to time.

Later, the DC visited the fire station and interacted with the fire service officials. The SP briefed him on dialling ‘112’ for police and fire and emergency services.
