ITANAGAR, 1 Jun: Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) Secretary Dr Jayanta Kumar Ray informed that the results of the mains examination have been delayed “due to the pandemic.”
On whether the candidates could expect a tentative date or month when the results would be announced, he said the commission is trying to expedite the announcement of the mains results.
Candidates who appeared for the mains have raised concern over the inordinate delay and have been repeatedly seeking early declaration of the mains results.
Around 2,6000 candidates had appeared for the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Combined Competitive (Prelims) Examinations (APPSCCE) held on 1 November, 2020, for 111 vacancies in various departments.
The results of the prelims were announced on 9 November, 2020, and about 1,200 candidates appeared for the APPSCCE mains held between 6 and 14 February.
