ITANAGAR, 1 Jun: The state recorded one death on Tuesday, taking the Covid death toll to 116.
The deceased is a 40-year-old female from the Itanagar capital region (ICR). She had reported severe respiratory distress with spo2 66 percent on 31 May with no comorbidity. She tested Covid positive on the same day and was admitted to the dedicated Covid hospital (DCH). However, she passed away at the RKM Hospital on 1 June at around 5:45 am.
At the same time, the state reported 370 Covid positive cases on Tuesday, with 116 of them being symptomatic.
The ICR reported 81 cases, followed by 32 in Lower Subansiri and 30 cases each in Changlang and Lower Dibang Valley.
Meanwhile, the DCH in Chimpu has 49 patients, the DCHC in Midpu has three, and the DCH in Pasighat has seven patients. The SQF in Lekhi currently has 33 occupants.
