CHIMPU, 20 Jul: The officials and staff of the Sports Authority of Arunachal (SAA), led by its Chairman Byabang Taj on Tuesday launched the ‘Cheer 4 Indian Olympic team’ campaign at the SAA campus here.
Taj also motivated the youths to “opt for sports discipline and maintain fitness to remain fit and avoid drugs.”
He informed that several programmes have been conducted by the sports & youth affairs department to motivate the youths to opt for sports instead of getting into drug addiction and other illegal activities.
He said that the ‘Cheer 4 India’ campaign is being organized across India to extend support to the Indian contingent which is gearing up for the Tokyo Olympics.
