ZIRO, 21 Jul: Around 30 progressive farmers and SHG members were trained on scientific beekeeping under the ‘Arunachal Bee Honey’ at Radpu village of Ziro-II circle in Lower Subansiri district on 20 July.
Bee boxes and other equipment were also provided to the trainees.
Dr Tasso Tabin from Yachuli KVK, HDO Hibu Dante and honey bee expert Amit Medhi imparted the training to the farmers.
The training was conducted by the office of the agriculture department here in Lower Subansiri district and co-ordinated by Yachuli SDAO Leegang Aniya.
The Panchayat leaders of the area also attended the training programme. (DIPRO)
