DAPORIJO, 12 Nov: Local artists, entrepreneurs and youths joined the urban development department in creating the figure of a mithun using waste PET bottles here in Upper Subansiri district on Friday, at the suggestion of the deputy commissioner.
The objective of creating the figure was to spread awareness about the harmful effects of PET bottles on the environment, especially on wildlife and animals like mithuns.
