PASIGHAT, 17 Nov: The police on Tuesday arrested a drug peddler with suspected brown sugar during a raid conducted in a hotel here in East Siang district.
The drugs peddler, who has been identified as Kishor Kumar Kardong (26) of Assam’s Dhemaji district, was apprehended based on information provided by NGO Women Against Social Evils, said the East Siang SP.
Police seized 5.9 gm of suspected brown sugar from the peddler.
A case has been registered against him in the Pasighat police station under the NDPS Act.
