AALO, 23 Feb: Jirdin village under Aalo-East Block in West Siang district has bagged the Chief Minister’s award as the cleanest village.
The award, which carries cash an amount of Rs 50,000 with a memento and a citation, were presented to the representatives of the village on the occasion of Statehood Day.
The award was given in recognition of the work culture of the villagers and their key role in disseminating the objectives of health and hygiene under the aegis of the Swachh Bharat Mission. (DIPRO)
