DUTTA, 24 Feb: The Dutta Government Employee Welfare Association (DGEWA) here in Lower Subansiri district has deeply mourned the untimely demise of senior agriculture field assistant (AFA) Koj Karu, who passed away at the NEIGRIHMS in Shillong, Meghalaya, on 22 February.
Describing late Karu, who was also the assistant social service secretary of the DGEWA, as a sincere, honest and hardworking man who was a very active social worker, the association conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul.
His funeral service was carried out on 24 February in his hometown Ziro.
